Navjyoti Special School in Shajapur, administered by the Diocese of Ujjain and managed by the Sisters of St Joseph's congregation in the Archdiocese of Kottayam. It is the 3rd mission station of our Congregation in India. This School is a unit of MPVSS (Madhya Pradesh Viklang Sahayta Samiti ) in Ujjain Diocese. School is established on February 7th 2000, with the aim of integrating children with disabilities into the mainstream of society. It is a matter of pride that the school has successfully completed 24 years now. Today, Navjyoti Special School has become a pillar of hope for many differently abled children and their families in Shajapur city and surrounding villages. In the year 2011 June 27th a CWSN Hostel has opened for boys (5 - 15 years old differently abled). It is currently engaged in training and rehabilitation activities for differently abled individuals in Shajapur district.
