The purpose to start hostel facilities for girl students and working women is as follows;
i. To help girls and women to grow as good-natured and ideal persons by conducting hostels and boardings for them is an important apostolic service of ours.
ii. In our hostels, there shall be arrangements for the Catholic inmates to receive such spiritual helps as prayer, Holy Mass, reception of Sacraments, catechism study, etc.
iii. There shall also be in our hostels a facility for the students to get proper counselling.
iv. We shall keep a close relationship with the parents of our students in the hostel.
1. Kannur, Edesa Convent Hostel
This is the first Hostel run by the Congregation. Inaugurated on July 21, 1982, this Hostel is meant for working women. No food is provided, but only a stay.
2. Ernakulam, San Jos Hostel,
This hostel for working women was established on April 4, 1988. In 2003, the hostel building was extended to accommodate more girls due to the increasing number of admissions.

Inaugurated on June 16, 1990, this Hostel is meant for working women and women students.

Inaugurated on July 4, 1993, this Hostel is meant for working women and women students.

6. Bangalore, St. Joseph's Study House (Ladies Hostel)
In line with the needs of the time, the Study House in Bangalore was later restructured and converted into a Ladies’ Hostel.
