In pursuance of the wishes and request of the parishioners and Vicar, Fr. Stephen Cheekkaparayil, Bishop Mar Kuriakose Kunnacherry gave permission to start this Convent. Thus with Srs. Anne Jose, Jose Maria, Jobin and Claret this House came into being on July 25, 1992 in a temporary building. Sr. Anne Jose is the first Superior of this Convent.
The newly built Convent was blessed on June 22, 1993 by V. Rev. Fr. Stephen Jairaj OFM Cap, the Vicar General of Malabar Region. Srs. Annie Jose, Arpitha, Leoni, Starly, Vandana, Jositta, Reni, Ajaya, Resmi are the former superiors. At present St.Ushas is the superior of this convent.
