This is the first House of the congregation outside Kerala, in an Indian Mission diocese. Sr. Jerose and Sr. Vinaya, the pioneer members reached Rajkot on October 5, 1981. They were sent to serve in the diocesan office of the infant diocese of Rajkot at the invitation of Mar Jonas Thaliath CMI, the first Bishop of Rajkot. Initially they stayed with the Sisters of the Society of Christ Jesus at Nirmala Convent. Later they moved in to a rented House, when Srs. Josia and Jyotis joined them on February 15, 1982. This house was blessed by Rev. Fr. Victorian Kunneparambil CMI, Administrator of the diocese.
The foundation stone of the present building of the Convent was laid on December 4, 1985 by Mar Gregory Karotemprel CMI, Bishop of Rajkot. He blessed the Convent on July 3, 1986.
Srs. Jerose, Crispin, Sincy, Sr.Basil, Sr. Saumy, Sr. Johnsy, Sr. Sincy, Sr. Rosy, Sr. Marisa, Sr. Preethy are the former Superiors and now Sr. Anu is serving as a superior of this Convent.
