With Srs. Joan. Elsy Tresa and Rositta as first members, this Convent was started on May 27, 1984 in a small house, donated by the Parish, along with 0.15 hectare of property. It was blessed by Msgr. Simon Koonthanamattom, Vicar General. The support and efforts of Rev. Fr. Thomas Nedumkompil, the then Vicar, played a greater role in starting this Convent.
Bishop Mar Kuriakose Kunnacherry laid the foundation stone of the present building on August 21, 1985, and the Convent was blessed by him on April 26, 1986. Sr. Joan was the first Superior, followed by Sr. Josin, Sr. Stella Maria, Sr. Treesa Maria Sr. Josephine, Sr. Stephany, Sr. Vimal, Sr. Ushus, Sr. Resmi, Sr. Lucina, Sr. Jacob. Now Sr. Judsy is serving as a superior of this convent.
