This Convent was started as Prayer House, where the members of the congregation can spend at least ten days in prayer, recollection and quietude. Bishop Mar Kuriakose Kunnacherry blessed it on February 5, 1989. A contribution of Rs. 50,000/- was received from Kallara new Parish.
Sr. Aloysius, Celine, Kusumam and Deepa are the pioneer members of this House. Srs. Aloysius, Joselin, Elsy Jose, Sr.Rosario, Sr. Vincy, Sr. Joice, Sr. Juliet, Sr. Elsy Treesa, Sr.Josephine, Sr. Celina are the former superiors. Sr. Soni is the present superior of this house.
