This convent was started on July 30, 1978 in a small house in the plot of land, purchased by the Congregation from the Oblates of Sacred Heart (OSH). It was blessed by Rev. Fr. Thomas Chamakalayil, Superior of OSH. Srs. Rita, Therese, Lisby, Flowery, Alin Tresa, Vineetha and Ann Maria are the first members, with Sr. Rita as Superior. Bishop Mar Kuriakose Kunnacherry laid the foundation stone of the present building on February 24, 1979. It was blessed on December 27, 1980 by His Eminence Cardinal Rubin, in the presence of the then Pro-Nuncio and Bishop Mar Kuriakose Kunnacherry.
Since May 1, 1981 this House has been the Generalate, when it was shifted from Ettumanoor. It functioned also as the Novitiate House till October 1, 1990, when the Novitiate House is shifted to Kaduthuruthy. Following Sr. Rita, Srs. Alice, Dennis, Jerose, Jenet, Tresa Maria, Sibeena, Ruby, Sr. Mercin and Sr. Shaina served here as Superiors in charge. At present Sr. Tiji is the superior in charge of this house.
In 1981 the Generalate house shifted from Ettumanoor to S.H. Mount (Nattassery) and the Superior Generals who stayed in this house and served are
