Srs. Stanislaus, Benjamin and Cyril started staying in a House here on June 4, 1961. The Parish donated this House along with the adjacent property, admeasuring 0.8 hectares. On March 19, 1963 the residence was shifted to the house, purchased from Mr. Chacko Padapurackal. Bishop Mar Thomas Tharayil blessed the newly constructed Convent and Chapel. On this occasion four Novices made their Profession and seven Postulants received religious habits.
A Boarding House was started in 1967. The Nursery School, which started in 1971, had to be closed down owing to a lack of applicants.
Srs. Philomena, Lisieux, Pius, Anselm, Anne Goretti, Maximin, Celine, Josy, Elizabeth, Gertrude, Joan, Tresa Maria, Anitha, Marie Therese, Lisby, Merlin, Ann Maria, Sophia, Anila and Neeta are the former Superiors of this Convent. At present Sr. Jeesa is the superior of this convent.
