The first Convent in Switzerland, this was opened on September 22, 1988, when Srs. Anne Goretti, Flowerlet and Thomsin came here to serve in the Institute for the blind. Situated in the diocese of Lugano, this Institute is managed by Unitas. It was Rev. Fr. Mathai Vettukallel, who helped to start this Convent. Sr. Anne Goretti was the first Superior. The former superiors are Srs.Anne Goretti, Flowerlet, Sr.Marylet, Sr. Ebi and Sr. Josmy. Sr. Marylet is serving as a superior of this community.
