With the encouragement and support of Rev.Fr.Pathrose Champakara, the vicar of St.Joseph’s Church Vadakkummury, this convent was started on June 10th 2001. The first members Sr.Treesa (Superior) Sr.Josia and Sr.Limsy were staying in a house belonging to Mr.Mathew Mattappallil. A plot of land measuring 48 cent was donated by Mr.Mani Mattappallil and the convent is build in a plot of land adjacent to it purchased by the Congregation. Rev.Fr.Sauriamakal laid the foundation stone of the building on Aug 15, 2002. It was blessed by Mar Kurakose Kunnacherry on April 5, 2003.
Srs. Tresa, Celin Jose, Leo, Claret, Kusumum, Mable, Pushpa were the former Superiors and at present Sr.Tresa Maria is the superior of this Convent.
