This Convent was started on October 14, 1990 when Bishop Mar Kuriakose Kunnacherry blessed it. The encouragement and support received from Rev. Fr. Joseph Kalapurackal is worth mentioning. The Parish donated a plot of land, 0.4 hectare. Srs. Basil, Tresa, Merin and Neeta are the first members. The former superiors are Sr.Basil, Sr. Levi, Sr. Joice, Sr. Feby, Sr. Annet, Sr. Regis, Sr. Namitha, Sr. Leesa, Sr.Siby, Sr. Namitha, Sr. Jolly and Sr. Bincy is serving as current superior of this convent.

(i) St. Joseph’s Bhavan for the Mentally Retarded- To give proper care to the mentally retarded children, this Home was started on June 2, 1991.
