On June 15, 1985, Rev. Fr. Mathew Kuzhippillil blessed this Convent. An aged Priest, Rev. Fr. Stephen Kizhakeppurath, donated the building along with the adjacent plot of land. In return the Congregation undertook the responsibility of looking after him. In compliance with his wishes, this House was christened ‘Manjumatha Convent’. Later an adjoining chapel was constructed. Srs. Georgia, Sincy and Suja are the first members of this Convent. The former Superiors are Srs. Georgia, Mercy, Bosco Georgia and Lincy Treesa. Srs. Georgia, Sincy and Suja are the first members of this Convent. The former Superiors are Srs. Georgia, Mercy, Bosco, Ancy, Georgia, Lincy Tresa, Treslin, Cicil, Jessin, Naveena, Flavia, Sameena and Sr. Judsy. Now Sr. Sithara is the superior of this convent.
